INTRODUCING RESY

We’re delighted to introduce Resy, our new online reservation system. To help everyone understand the new system, we’ve put together some FAQs below."

RESERVATION FAQS

If I want to make a reservation for 1-4 people, do I need to a leave a voice mail?

No. Please use the Resy system. Just click on the Resy button on our website to schedule your reservation. Reservations are on a 60 day rolling availability. So the farthest out you can schedule a reservation is 60 days from today. A new day becomes available each day at 12:01 am.

What if the reservation I want isn’t available?

We’re a very tiny restaurant—just 14 tables. So the more flexible you can be on number of guests, time and/or date, the more likely we’ll be able to accommodate you. For example…you might prefer a 6:30 pm table for 2 people, but perhaps a 6 pm would work just fine.

How do I get on a wait list if the reservation I want isn’t available?

Use Resy to put yourself on the “Notify” list for the date(s) you want. The Notify list is Resy’s waitlist. If we get a cancellation on the date you’re looking for, Resy will automatically email you letting you know. Then it’s up to you to claim the reservation.

How do I make a reservation for a party larger than 4?

Please call us at 214-948-4998 and leave us a message with your name, phone number, the number in your party and the date and time range you’re interested in. The largest party we can accommodate is 6 people. Large parties will be seated at 5:30 or 6 pm or 8 pm and after. Since we’re such an intimate dining space, tables of six can be challenging to schedule. The more flexible you can be on dates and times, the more likely we’ll be able to accommodate you. So please feel free to leave a message with more information. If you leave a message saying “Hey, we’d love Wednesday April 12th at 6 pm….but really any Tuesday or Wednesday between 6 and 8:30 pm would work for us,” you’re much more likely to get a table than if you only have one specific date and time that works for you.

I made a reservation for March back in February using the old phone-in system. Do I still have a reservation?

Yes. We entered all existing reservations made last month into the Resy system. We’ll contact you to confirm your reservation a few days before your dinner date.

Is there a way in Resy to let you know I…..am celebrating a special occasion / have dietary restrictions / have time constraints / or give you other additional information ?

Yes. When you create your Resy profile, you can let us know of any allergies you have or add in any permanent notes you’d like. If you’re a vegetarian, but you’re OK with cheese and eggs…this is a great way to let us know. When you make a reservation with Resy, you’ll be able to let us know that you’re celebrating a special occasion or if you have any special requests for that particular visit.

How far out can I make reservations?

60 days out. Beginning March 1st, Lucia’s reservations will be on a rolling 60 day availability. That means that on March 1st, you’ll be able to make reservations through April 29th. Then at 12:01 am March 2nd, April 30th reservations will open. And so on.

How do I reserve the whole restaurant for a private party?

We’re glad you want to celebrate with us! Please contact us at info@luciadallas.com or call us at 214-948-4998 at least 70 days ahead of the date you’re interested in. We’ll be happy to talk with you about the basics of hosting a private party at Lucia. That way, if it’s a day we’re normally open for service, we can block off the restaurant as “Reserved for a Private Event.” We’re normally open for dinner 5:30 pm to 10 pm Tuesday through Saturday, but we can also host parties on Sundays or Mondays when we’re normally closed.

Can I reserve the bar seats or an outside table?

As always, our display kitchen bar seats and outside tables are available to walk-ins, first come, first served. These cannot be reserved. However, once we open our doors for the evening, we will begin building a wait list for these seats, but you must actually walk in to the restaurant to be put on the wait list. There are no call-aheads or online reservations available for these seats. As always, our display kitchen bar seats and outside tables are available to walk-ins, first come, first served. Can we still call and talk with a person?

Absolutely! We’re always happy to talk with you. There are only two of us who handle the phones, so we appreciate your patience. Feel free to call us 214-948-4998. Or you can email us at info@luciadallas.com. We’ll get back with you as soon as we can.
